Geriatric nurses are trained in the treatment of older patients and are essential components of the health care team to help older adults retain their autonomy, independence and quality of life. We are qualified to recognize the needs of older people and work closely with primary care physicians, nurses, social workers, and families to provide individualized care for the elderly.
