Family nursing is part of primary care for patients of all ages, from child to geriatric health. Family nurses assess the health of the whole family to identify health issues and risk factors, help develop strategies to resolve health concerns, and incorporate measures to strengthen individual and family wellbeing. During their entire life cycle, family nurses also work with patients. Family Nursing helps build a strong relationship between patient and health care provider.
