Cardiac nursing is a discipline focused on the prevention and treatment of heart-related conditions. Cardiac nursing includes an intellectual of normal cardiac anatomy and physiology, keen observation and assessment, and control skills, thorough knowledge of heart disease and symptoms, and ongoing training related to appropriate methods of prevention and treatment options. Nurses will work in hospital or outpatient settings, take care of medical or surgical patients, and see extreme disease patients or will help them to manage chronic disease.
